About Sally
I have been making jewellery for 25 years, using lots of materials: glass beads of all shapes and sizes, Austrian lead crystals and pearls, semi-precious stones, polymer clay, fabric, pure and sterling silver, copper and wire. I often source a one-off piece of semi-precious stone or artist-created glass to act as a focal point around which I create a unique design that cannot be repeated.
I love my work and am constantly inspired by the things I see around me; my lovely lush garden and the surrounding countryside here in the Wye Valley, Herefordshire is my design muse. I love the art of the Renaissance, as well as that of the Impressionists; diverse but inspiring styles that influence my work, with a touch of Gustav Klimt for good measure!
I also teach adults (please see the Events page), which is highly rewarding and has made me many friends.
